WATOC 2025
In June 2025, the 13th triennial congress of the World Association of Theoretical and Computational Chemists (WATOC) was held at the Oslo Kongressenter and hosted by the Hylleraas Centre at the University of Oslo.

The congress brought together 1 100 researchers from 47 countries working in theoretical and computational chemistry. The scientific programme included 330 oral presentations and 630 poster presentations. Lectures and sessions were held on all seven days of the week, from Saturday, 21 June to Friday, 27 June. WATOC 2025 was therefore likely the longest congress ever organised in the field of theoretical chemistry.
The event consisted of two parts: Young WATOC pre-congress on 21 June and the main WATOC congress from 22–27 June.
